Baby Shower Totes

I took a short break from party favor totes to work on baby shower totes. She is having her first little girl and wanted to give everyone a special treat for coming to her shower. We did a little trade, and I got my girls some cute Halloween shirts! Check her out on etsy--lollipopsandlemondrops.

Sock Monkey

I thought I would share a pic of Mattie Claire's sock monkey. I love the lips, love the flower, ... She has been asking for one, so I know this will be a hit at Christmas time. Eleganthobbies on etsy is in South Louisiana, so not only did I support another etsian but also a fellow Louisianaian. Hope Winn's first day back was great. I go tomorrow, so say a little prayer for me. I am going to miss all the time I have gotten to spend at home with my girls this summer.

Sock Monkey Totes

I am still in love with the sock monkeys. I thought these little totes turned out cute. I got my order in today from eleganthobbies. You should check her out on etsy; they are adorable!! My girls will be getting their monkeys for Christmas. Remember my vow to buy as many gifts as I could from etsy?

Where to Begin?

I am not sure where to begin. We made a flying trip to Mobile for the Kenny Chesney/Miranda Lambert concert last week. We spent the day at the beach, then Mattie Claire, Meme, Dana, and I went to sweat at The Wharf for the concert. It was wonderful!! Mattie Claire knows all the Miranda songs and sang along. While we were enjoying the concert, Jason was at the condo with Molly, who dialed 911! The policeman wasn't too happy, but I say at least it was a false alarm.

Yesterday, my perfect little five year old cut her hair!! She thought she could make it cuter. I never thought I would be a parent that would get upset about something like that, but I cried. I do think the new hairdo is pretty cute, though. Still pretty backed up on painting, and I go back to school on Thursday. I am sure the posts will get a little spaced out!

Backpack

Since I got another call about the vinyl backpack, I thought I would post a picture. I am working on a zebra print that we can hopefully use for some letters. I also have lime green and can do polka dots. The possibilities are endless if you have time to play. I have a some big plans for Vexcon stuff:-) This backpack came from Target for $15. WalMart also has some for $10. Last year, Mattie Claire had a mesh backpack that Sarah put an appliqued name on. It is still in great shape, but for the price I thought the vinyl would be a fun start to the new school year.

Sock Monkey Totes

I painted most of the day, but I finished my order of 24. I have almost finished everything that needs to go out before Miranda Lambert! I got a request for sock monkey totes today. It was my first time to do sock monkeys, so I hope she likes them. There is so much cute sock monkey stuff out there that Molly may have a sock monkey party instead of a princess pig party. As most of you know, Mattie Claire's is pretty much set in stone!!
